Lauren Tolcher - Lead Vocals and Guitar
Lauren's soulful vocals are the heart and soul of The Blue Iguanas. She is a voice and performing arts graduate of
Presbyterian College. Her passion for singing has taken her around the world, traveling to and singing in many countries.
Lauren is the primary vocalist for the Blue Iguanas, singing everything from ballads to blues.

Steve Bennett - Mandolin, Guitar, Big Green Johnson", and Vocals
Steve has played bluegrass, folk, and Celtic music in the Columbia, SC area
for over 30 years. In fact, Steve and Allen first played together in the
Second Time Around band during the early 1980s. Steve brings to the band
many original songs. He also loves playing fiddle tunes on the mandolin
and enjoys playing the blues on the "big green Johnson".

Allen Fisher - Banjo, Banjola, Harmonica, and Vocals
Allen Fisher has been playing the banjo since the 1960s.
His playing style is a combination of melodic and Scruggs style.
He has played in numerous blugrass bands over the years, including
High Lonesome, Bill Haney
and the Zaszoff Boys, Second Time Around, and Midnight Flyer, and he also
plays in a beach band. It has been rumored that
Allen missed out on being the banjo player on the movie
"Deliverence" (which made Dueling Banjos famous) because he
joined the army just before James Dickey (the author of the
book "Deliverence") came looking for him.

David Derrick - Upright Bass
"Hillbilly Dave" and his solid bass rhythm
sets the pace and is the heartbeat of the Blue Iguanas sound.
David has been playing bluegrass for about 30 years. He also plays
guitar and mandolin, and has played in the bands High Lonesome,
Beaver Creek, The Sugarloaf Mountain Boys, and Diamonds in the Rough.

Ashley Carder - Fiddle
Ashley has been playing bluegrass and old-time music for 30 years
and has played in various groups including
High Lonesome, Bill Wells and the Blue Ridge Mountain Grass, Anna and Shellie Davis and the Unnamed Bluegrass Band, Carolina Rebels, Amick Junction, Carolina Crossroads, and The Brushy Fork Boys.
In addition to bluegrass, Ashley also plays old time fiddle and guitar, and has played with
groups that have placed at festivals such as the Galax Old Fiddlers Convention
and various other fiddler's conventions around the Carolinas.
